Did you know that Jehovah's Witnesses believe that all people will go to heaven? That seems quite funny to me because they also say that God will not let bad people into heaven. If God won't let bad people into heaven, then how can all people go to heaven? Wink
They also never mention anything about asking Jesus to be Lord of your life. It's kind of sad to see people who's religion is so close to Christianity, but lacks the personal side of a relationship with God.
They believe that they get to heaven by works. We know this is not right because of what the Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9:  "For by grace are you saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, incase any man should boast."
Give me one good argument against what I have just said.

Actually some lady tried to give me booklets and things "innocently" the other day.
Deceptive...
Then she drove off (was in a parking lot)
And then I looked and saw what it was...then showed them to my dad too.
Haha, those were tossed.

The basis of "Christ"ianity is accepting Jesus into one's heart, and living for him
seeking to please him in all ways.
And yup, not by works at all.
I'll give you one good argument against Jehovah's witnesses...
Its not right.
There we go.
Ok, lemmie stop.

Thank you, shinja. I think you should have read them just to see how you could prove their doctrine was wrong. (that's what I did, I wanted to see where the bad spots in their doctrine were)

actually, i read up a bit on this- www.watchtower.org -and i don't think they believe that all people go to heaven- i think they have somewhat similar beliefs on that issue, except for they think heaven will be on earth.  But i did find some problems in their doctrine- they totally don't believe the importance of accepting Jesus into your heart.  Some of it i just found kind of weird, like not accepting blood transfusions even if your life depends on it b/c that's breaking God's law. . .

Well I know that these people also do not believe in celebrating all holidays. And they believe that JC died on a stake risen up instead of a cross. I really think that is Bull, come on now stake raising didn't really enter a guy's head until the 1200's not in the BC age! Well soooo I really think that there needs to be a revival of this gen. to bring back to the idolists back to their first Love. Man, also if we as teens don't talk to people about revival then who will? If this is the last gen. we need to become the army like in the book of Joel agenst the army of Babylon! So... this is just a little firing up the soul kind of thing...

srry..........its 3:30 and i havn't brushed up on my Jehovah knowhow, but from what i remember it was founded by Russel something who began with a bible study with his own little series, was declared by the group "pastor" nad then later revised the bible in order to prove his points for instance, inserting the word other to say that Jesus was not god

I agree with you JW's aren’t Christians.  It's a cult. Did you know that they can't have blood transfusions? Or they believe that when you die you don't go to heaven you fall a sleep and when Jesus comes everyone wakes up lives in peace. Need anymore info ask me. I have a friend thats  a JW and she enjoys telling me all about her
beliefs.
                                          Peace out,
