I'm working on some fixes and upgrades on the forum and I made this topic to list the progresses that are made.
If you people have suggestions on what you'd like to see (new features, etc etc) around here, let me know and I'll see what can be done.
Done so far:
- calendar fixed
- Arcade working again
- Shop working again
- Capcha system now working well, new members don't need to be activated by admins anymore

Hey Arkav, I'm actually wondering if there is a signup upgrade or better Captcha for the forum. As of two days ago, we started getting flooded with requests for new memberships from Russia etc. I didn't have this prob since the upgrade that I did abput half a year ago. Thx.

Yes I've noticed, I've just got a couple of new registrations notifications from users that are listed as spammers on some sites.
I'm pretty sure there are better Captcha systems; there is also a anti-bot system which uses simple quizzes instead that captcha code.
I'll check to see which ways could be better

Shop is working again, there aren't many objects in there for now but either me or Frank will try to add some more soon. I'm enjoying fixing things lol |

Lol well I've had to learn to deal with some bugs related to this kind of forums since I'm running my community on something similar. It can get a bit stressing at times when it gives errors without evident reasons, but in the end there is always a more or less logical explanation behind, lol   |

Something about the Captcha: so far it seems it's doing it's job, there haven't been new registrations since its settings have been modified,
I'll keep an eye on this for the next few days and if all goes well it soon will be possible, (is Frank agrees), to change some settings so that admins won't need to verify the new members anymore.
